Howdy!

Howdy, my name is Max! Originally from Texas, I am currently wandering the world in search of creative inspiration, fresh perspectives, and stories worth sharing. I use my wise words & dynamic designs to help brands, entrepreneurs, and other creatives get noticed.

My love of people and language led me to study Anthropology & Journalism in university, and there I learned how expressing ideas through the timeless art of writing has the ability to Change the World. Around this time I became inspired by the way visual communication helps transmit these ineffable ideas, and taught myself all I could about graphic design through Adobe Photoshop.
 

After spending many (aka 8) years in the restaurant, retail, and hospitality industries, I decided to combine my vast customer service experience with my passion for writing and my eye for design to create Scripted Designs, a creative agency that helps brands use a multidimensional approach to better connect with their audience.

Outside of work, I am at my happiest when traveling, listening to music, watching football (soccer for my fellow Americans), being outdoors, and getting lost on Wikipedia.
